أنشئت في 1906, The Cosmos Co-operative Bank Ltd (البنك الكون ) is one of the oldest urban co-operative banks in the country,  reputed for its quality services. اليوم, the Cosmos Bank is one of the leading Multi-state Scheduled Co-operative banks.

Cosmos Bank operates through 96 branches and 8 Extension Counters in India spread across 5 States and in 22 Major Cities, which are as follows:

- Maharashtra: Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik, Baramati, Jalna, Kolhapur, Nipani, Satara, Phaltan.

- Madhya Pradesh: Indore.

- Andhra Pradesh: Hyderabad

- Karnataka: Banglore. Belgaum

- Gujarat: Surat, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Ankaleshwar, Naroda, Rajkot. Bhuj

Management

The overall control & management of the bank rests with the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors are elected by shareholders of the Bank. The Chairman & Vice Chairman are elected amongst the Board members after every 2.5 سنة. The present Board of Directors consists of qualified professionals having diverse occupations like

Social Obligations

Cosmos Foundation is a public charitable trust founded under the initiative of shareholders of Cosmos Co-op Bank on 16.10.1987. The registered office of the foundation is at 269/270, Shaniwar Peth, Pune-30.

The main objectives of the foundation are –

- To give loans to ward of the Cosmos Bank members at concessional rates for pursuing higher education abroad.

- To give medical help to members upto specified limits.

- To felicitate the awards of members who excel in Std. س & XII examinations.

- To promote educational spirit and to maintain, support, propagate intellectual qualities educational facilities, الخ.

- To arrange educational seminars, conferences, الخ.

- To grant relief in the event of natural calamities such as earthquakes, floods, famine

- The Foundation also provides outsourcing facility

- Special arrangement as Executor & Trustee for preparation & execution of Will especially for the Senior Citizens.
