Job Description

We are currently seeking a Director of Client Service-Recruiting to join our Birmingham practice.  This dynamic individual will support our existing Accounting and Finance management practice.  Primary responsibilities include the sourcing, pre-screening, and interviewing of qualified professionals with the ultimate goal of developing and maintaining a diversified team of applicants and Consultants available for placement on open engagements.  This is a unique opportunity to leverage your existing technical skills, tap into your creativity, and satisfy that entrepreneurial drive.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a recruiting strategy that continually replenishes the candidate pipeline based on market condition, existing Associate team, and current/projected client engagements.
  • Conduct in-depth behavioral interviews to properly assess skill set and competencies of candidates.
  • Plan and participate in events for candidates and client development, such as job fairs, industry conferences, etc.
  • Assist the client service team by documenting candidate profiles, checking references, and determining Associatematchesfor open client engagements.
  • Manage Associate team by initiating regular communication with Associates to reduceunassigned timeand ensure that Associatesexpectations are being met.
  • Present Associate/recruitment development updates at weekly team meetings, participate in business development discussions, and develop new recruiting strategies based on current client needs.
  • Manage various recruiting responsibilities such as maintenance and mailings, placement of newspaper/internet advertising, EEOC requirement documentation, periodic re-examination of overall recruiting process and training of new recruiting managers.

Professional Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-7 years experience in Accounting, Finance and/or Internal Audit.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Superior communication skills a must.
  • Some recruiting experience preferred. Big Four or consulting experience preferred.

  • Exhibits enthusiasm and support for the goals, plans, and strategies of the local practice
  • Displays a ‘can doattitude within the practice to accomplish goals and achieve results

Reporting:

The Director of Client Service-Recruiting reports to the local Office Managing Director.
